As members of the Italian Culinary Institute, we proudly display in our Market the largest selection of Italian and Southern European foods in Utah. In addition to the vast array of cheeses and meats, we stock a huge selection of olive oils, olives, pasta, vinegars, antipasti and thousands of other specialty grocery items.
Our Deli is a bustling neighborhood lunch spot where customers line up out the door for a selection of made-to-order sandwiches, salads and pasta. Sandwiches are prepared on crusty Italian peasant bread, focaccia, or ciabatta, and with high quality meats and cheeses and other Regional Italian and Southern European ingredients fresh from our own Market.

Our signature sandwich, “The Caputo,” has been named third best sandwich in America by FHM magazine. It has also been awarded the title of best sandwich in Utah by the American Sandwich cookbook. Our Meatball sandwich was also picked as one of the top ten sandwiches in America by Unlimited magazine.
Founded in 1997 in the heart of Salt Lake City’s historic Italian and Greek neighborhood, Caputo’s has become a Salt Lake City institution.
